The Merlin (Smyrill)

Experience this spin on the classic Westfjords Way Route, customized to your sense of adventure

At 809 km, the Merlin is a great route option for riders that may be time limited and want to stay mostly on tarmac. It stays mainly on the traditional course of the Westfjords Way, traversing some of the best scenery, hot pots, cafes and waterfalls the Westfjords has to offer. But keep in mind: even though it is the easiest of the routes, it is far from easy!

The route is about 809 km long and 11,300 m elevation gain. On-route, you will have the opportunity to rack up 300 passport points in cultural stops. But keep in mind, you can always make changes to the route using our point system as a guide for recommended stops.
