Description

5 Days, 2 route options: 530 km [330 mi] or 665 km [413 mi]

Want to experience the Westfjords Way in under a week? This tour takes all of the highlights of the Westfjords Way with less distance.

The Expressway is for those who want the experience of the Westfjords Way but want to take it all in 5 days. This tour features two options – one that averages 107 kilometers a day and a longer version at 134 kilometers per day. As with all of our routes, you will traverse some of the best scenery, hot pots, cafes and waterfalls the Westfjords has to offer.

The route is either 530 or 665 km long. The main difference between Option A and B is Option B visits the village of Holmavik and  the Museum of Icelandic Witchcraft and Sorcery which is worth the extra distance if you are up for it. Option B also has more gravel. On-route, you will have the opportunity to score many passport points in cultural stops. But keep in mind, you can always make changes to the route using our point system as a guide for recommended stops.

*Note: Passport routes are 69.995 ISK for solo riders. If you are riding in a group, the primary group contact should purchase the 69.995 ISK option. All additional group members cost 24.995 ISK
